1.  What is the total fee for the delegation and what does it include?

65000/- (inclusive of all taxes)

(i) Facilitation Fee (payable to Chrysalis (EZ Vidya Pvt. Ltd.,))

(ii) Delegation Fee (payable to DiDacTEC in Finland) - € 1650

The fee includes:

  • Hotel charges (twin sharing)
  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • School fee
  • Speaker’s fee
  • Local travel in Finland
  • Local travel (Metro train) in Stockholm
  • Ferry trip charges to Sweden and return to Helsinki
(  *Dinner in Finland all days, food in Sweden and onboard the ferry, flight and visa charges are not included )

2. Where do we start from?

All participants are required to make their own arrangements to get to Helsinki Airport on August 27 th before 16:00, Finland time. The bus will depart at 16:00 to Jyväskylä. (Organisers will be leaving from New Delhi terminal Finnair Flight AY-22 on 27 th August and returning by Finnair on 2 nd September AY21 to New Delhi on 2 nd September).

3. Where will we be staying in Finland?

The delegation shall happen in Jyväskylä, which is 270 kms from Helsinki. Participants will be accommodated in Hotel Cumulus, Jyväskylä, from 27 th August evening till 31 st August morning. We would move to board the overnight ferry to Sweden on 31 st August evening and reach Stockholm on 1 st September morning. We would reach Helsinki on the morning of the 2 nd September.

4. Can I book the hotel on my own?

We have arranged your stay in one of the best hotels in Finland. You can always upgrade your room in the same hotel.

5. Will there be vegetarian food available?

Yes. Plenty of vegetarian options are available.

6. What is the duration of this delegation?

The delegation shall be for 6 days and 6 nights, spread between Finland and Sweden. Of these, 4 days shall be for official visits to schools in Finland and only 1 day for visit to Stockholm, Sweden. The travel from Finland to Sweden and back would be covered through an overnight ferry ride (15 hours each way). Participants will be free to explore the last 1 day in Sweden on their own, especially the innovation museums.

7. Does the fee include payment for meals too?

Breakfast on all days will be available at the hotel, as a part of the package. Lunch shall be served on the 4 official visit days in Finland. Dinner has not been included, keeping in mind time for participants to socialise in smaller groups while in Finland.For the same reason, meals costs (breakfast, lunch & dinner) has not been included for the 1 day and 2 night trip duration of trip to Sweden as participants would have enough options to explore on their own.

8. What clothing do we need?

Temperatures are usually expected to be in the range of 10 to 18 degree Celsius at that time of the year. So plan your clothing accordingly.

9. What about visa processing?

Upon registration, Chrysalis (EZ Vidya Pvt. Ltd.,) will send all necessary supporting documents to the delegates for applying for a visa. You can book your tickets and apply for a visa through your travel agent. If you need our help, we can send our travel agent details to you. They will help you out with the ticket and visa.
